Our standard terms for a skip hire is a period of Ten days from date of delivery. We are quite accomodating for extended hire periods if required so please contact us if this a requirement you may have.
You’re welcome to dispose of a variety of household or business waste in J&R’s skips. We’re committed to responsible disposal and recycling practices. Do note, items classified as hazardous demand special disposal methods and prior notification.
J&R extends its skip hire services to numerous locations within London, Hertfordshire, Essex and South Cambs. Please see our service area map on the skip home page for our main area’s we cover. If you are outside of this area please give the office a call.
The cost varies depending on the skip size, which ranges from 4 to 14 cubic yards. The fee encompasses delivery, pickup, and waste processing. For guidance on the right skip size for your job, J&R’s team is just a call away.
Placing a skip on public property necessitates a permit. J&R can secure this permit on your behalf, so make sure to inquire about whether this applies to your situation. Please note for skips that require a permit this must be done by contacting the office as we do not accept ordering of skips that require permits via our online booking system.
Should your skip reach capacity but you still have more waste, J&R can arrange for a skip exchange. This can be done via our online booking system or by giving us a call where we will be happy to arrange.
For hazardous materials, we requires prior notification to ensure safe and compliant disposal. We can guide you on what constitutes hazardous waste and the appropriate disposal methods so please contact us.
